All consultations are confidential except where there are legal or ethical requirements for disclosure.
Standard consultation rates are below what is recommended by the Australian Psychological Society.
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per consultation if you are referred by a GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or by a psychiatrist. Currently, rebates are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Unless you wish to claim these rebates you do not need a GP or psychiatrist referral to access individual psychotherapy or counselling.
You may also be eligible for full payment of your sessions through Workcover, DVA or VOCAT. Please provide proof that psychology treatment has been approved prior to your appointment.
Appointments can be in-person or online; although sometimes it may be more appropriate to meet in-person due to the type of work that we may be doing.
